Written by The Operator

The Operator is the house voice of our X launch team. We help AI startups get to market on X, and this manual is the part of that work we can give away.

Why the voice is blunt

Most advice about growing on X is either hype or vague. "Provide value." "Be consistent." Founders do not need that. They need to know what to post on Tuesday, who to reply to, and what to stop doing. So every play here is written as an instruction, with a checklist, and with the reasoning out in the open so you can disagree with it.

What we believe

  • The founder account beats the company account before launch.
  • The problem gets posted before the product.
  • Replies are the cheapest growth channel on X, and the most skipped.
  • AI creators are relationships, not ad slots. Start a month early.
  • Small honest numbers beat big vague claims.
  • No follower trains, no bought followers, no engagement pods.

Who we work with

AI founders one to six months from launch, with a product that works and an X account that does not yet. If that is you, the first step is a free teardown of your X account. If you want us to run the whole pre-launch with you, that is the sprint.

How this site is written

Every play comes from launches we have worked on or watched closely. Example tweets and threads are written by us for hypothetical products, so nothing here puts words in a real founder's mouth. Plays are updated when X changes or when we learn we were wrong.
